Jukido-Kai Iaido
“The Way of the Sword” This class focuses on the ancient sword art of Japan. With the art deriving from two different sword schools, the body of knowledge is extensive and covers many aspects of the sword including Kenjutsu, Iaijutsu (Battojutsu), Tanto Jutsu as well as sub arts like Shuriken Jutsu. This class is open to adult students and runs as a seminar format throughout the year.
A.T.A.C. (Armed Tactics and Combatives)
ATAC or Armed Tactics and Combative is an advanced system of self protection offered by Jukido-Kai. Rooted in the ancient bladed traditions of the Far East, it utilizes modern tools and tactics where the methods have been adapted to modern Western self defense needs with training being centered around your everyday carry utility blade. It is designed to progress students beyond the basics offered in our Self-Protection programs as well as a modernized companion art for students of traditional martial arts. This program is offered at the Head Jukido-Kai dojo in Wapakoneta, Ohio as well as Bellefontaine, Ohio. This class is held in a seminar format throughout the year.
