Welcome to Jukido Kai — CFTMA’s Head Dojo
Jukido Kai is the flagship training center of the Center for Traditional Martial Arts, located in Wapakoneta, Ohio. As our head dojo, this is where Sensei Ron Smith leads the core curriculum of Eugue-Ryu Karate-Jutsu — the same traditional martial arts system that has been building character and discipline since 1994.

Serving Wapakoneta and Auglaize County
Jukido Kai draws students from across Auglaize County and the surrounding area. Families from Lima (about 15 minutes south), Sidney, St. Marys, and throughout western Ohio find that the drive is well worth it for quality martial arts instruction.
Driving Directions
- From Lima: Head north on I-75 to US-33 East. Take the Wapak-Freyburg Rd exit. The dojo is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Lima.
- From Sidney: Take I-75 North to US-33 East toward Wapakoneta. Approximately 20 minutes.
- From St. Marys: Head east on US-33. Approximately 15 minutes.
About Wapakoneta, Ohio
Wapakoneta is best known as the hometown of Neil Armstrong — the first person to walk on the moon. It’s a proud, close-knit community in Auglaize County with a strong tradition of supporting youth activities and community organizations. CFTMA is honored to be part of that tradition, providing martial arts training in Wapakoneta for over three decades.
